2011 Hugo Awards


No próximo dia 20 de Agosto, em Reno, Nevada, vão ser entregues os galardões aos vencedores de mais uns Hugo Awards.
A votação nas diversas obras nas várias categorias terminou no passado dia 31 de Julho. O Hugo Awards é o mais prestigiado galardão na área da ficção cientifica e é escolhido pelo membros da World Science Fiction Society.
Para a categoria do melhor romance concorrem este ano:

Não li ainda nenhuma das obras seleccionadas mas já li com agrado obras de alguns destes autores.
De Connie Willis li "Doomsday Book" e "To say nothing of the dog" de que gostei bastante.
De Ian McDonald li o fabuloso Brasil de que há uma edição em português.

  1. Sigo o Hugo Award sempre com o maior entusiasmo. Este ano, no entanto, penso que é o primeiro ano em que nunca li nada de nenhum autor dos nomeados para melhor romance.
